Bryan Families,

We have enjoyed welcoming students back to school following winter break!

The weather took a very cold turn upon our return. As we adventure into the depth of winter, please remember to send students with coats, hats and gloves because we will go outside when possible. The guidelines we follow are anything 0-degrees or below (real feel or actual temperature), we will have indoor recess. If the temp is above 20-degrees without precipitation, we will go outside. In-between these temperatures, we will make a decision based on the conditions.

If you are in need of coats, hats or gloves, we have many available for students, just let us know!

Finally, our classroom teacher will communicate with you more details about inclimate weather plans, but please check the Millard Inclimate Weather webpage for information: MPS Website Information for Families

As always, please let us know if we can help.

Best,

Jimmy Feeney III

Principal

Parking Lot

Due to the safety concerns with 144th Street at dismissal, the congestion is a lot. We have many cars and people moving in different directions and it can be a very busy environment. We typically have a 10 minute period that cars back-up trying to get back on 144th Street. Please plan accordingly so patience is possible. Here are a few parking lot reminders:

  • Students should enter and exit vehicles only in the drop off lane near the curb.
  • Please only exit your vehicle if you are in a parking stall.
  • Please use the crosswalk.
  • If you use a handicapped stall, your handicapped tags need to be visible.
