Welcome to a new school year!!
Here we go....I am excited to start year 22 of my education career once again at Tri-County Elementary! What a kind, caring, hard-working group of individuals we have! Thank you for entrusting us with your students! We don't take this responsibility lightly!
At the elementary we have over 168 years of combined experience in education! Staff longevity is key to creating a consistent and effective learning program. Our staff does a great job of building routines, assessing the student's needs, and instructing students at high levels.
Things to remember:
- students have been given a mask to wear on the bus.
- to keep everyone healthy, please stay home when experiencing any symptoms of illness.
- all students are receiving free lunches.
- signing up for textcaster, http://my.textcaster.com/asa/Default.aspx?ID=6a3293f3-c9b5-46f1-b7f6-054f97e40ff2 will give you up-to-date information about school.
- when the parking lot opens up, car riders should be dropped off at the gym doors.
- picture to the right: Mrs. Tomlinson leaves her mark on the new parking lot.
- remember to keep your AMI binder in a safe place and contact teachers, if you have any questions between 8:00 and 3:00, Monday - Friday.
We look forward to an effective, fun, and healthy school year!
If your student participated in the summer reading program through the Daviess County Library, please send a note to your child's teacher to have their name entered into a drawing!

Update to our Student Handbook:
Please note that students should not return to school if they have a fever, OR they have any symptoms, for 48 hours after their symptoms subside.
Ultimately, the school nurse will decide when a student should return to school if sent home sick. When in doubt, check with the school nurse please.
