Message from the principal...
It's amazing that we are already in December and just a week away from our winter break. We look forward to some time off and for our students and their families to rest, celebrate the holidays and rejuvenate. This week we were excited to celebrate Inclusive Schools Week, where our school had an opportunity to learn more about ways that we can actively work to be an inclusive community of people who meet the diverse needs of all students in our school. Our students and staff represented their unity and inclusivity by wearing a different color to school each day (see pictures below). Additionally, all of our grade levels participated in an assembly with Sam Drazin, from Changing Perspectives, to promote our awareness of others and recognizing ways that we can exercise empathy. Sam did an amazing job at speaking to each group of students in a way that related to their age group and our students were really engaged in his presentation! It's always a joy to welcome guests who can help us gain new perspectives and remind us of ways that we can show care and empathy to others.
We have one more week until our winter break, and we look forward to returning to school in the new year on January 4th, 2023. Please be reminded that next Friday, 12/16 is a super minimum day, and school will release at 11:30. This time of year causes all of us to slow down and pause, and to be particularly mindful of the things in our lives that bring us solace and joy. We have witnessed our community step up and support each other through these last few weeks in ways that demonstrate the powerful nature of our connection and strength. We are so grateful for each of you and your contributions to our community. We hope that this upcoming winter break is restful and we are excited to welcome in a new year with your students in a few short weeks.
In Partnership,
Jude and Tiffany

Hello Dolphin community members!
This year, the PTO with the overwhelming support from Principal Noyes and Assistant Principal Parrish, will be celebrating all our wonderful team members throughout the school year by recognizing them in the new Dolphineers' Spotlight Section, of the principal's newsletter. Students of all grade levels will be conducting the Q&A's and making that human connection priceless. It was such a joy to see how enthusiastically TK, Kinder and 5th Grade students were to be asking the questions and learning new things about their teachers and staff. Many of the kids were even more excited to learn they had hobbies and activities in common! A special "Thank you" to Mr. Goity, Mrs. Alvarez, Ms. Tapang and Mrs. Guerra for sharing their time and themselves with our collective community. We appreciate your remarkable contributions in our children's academic and individual growth!
If you have a staff appreciation idea you'd like to share, we would love to hear it! Please submit them to Alma M. Z @ zamfambam@gmail.com, Jenn Erskine @ jennerskine2412@gmail.com or myself at scarlett_p78@yahoo.com.
Enjoy and I wish everyone a Happy, Healthy, and Safe Holiday Season! Scarlett Mineta
