Welcome to Mr. Olson's Classes
Technical Electives
Get Ready to learn!
It is my goal that each of you gain and acquire new skills, traits and abilities with our courseware. You will be challenged and have a great deal of fun doing so!
Tips for Success - Working with the Lesson Content
2. When responding to short answer or essay questions, be sure to use correct punctuation, spelling and grammar. This makes it easier for me to understand what you are trying to say and I want to make sure that I completely understand you with these types of questions.
3. Always SAVE your work, like essays projects etc, to your local computer FIRST - Before uploading. This will save you time of having to 're-do' something in case of a technical issue or problem.
4. Be sure to use the "Help" screen to ask questions directly to me. At times, everyone runs into little problems or challenges with the courseware. The way to resolve these is to think carefully and try other solutions or you can reach out to me directly through the Help window in Ignitia. I focus on your questions and these are my primary focus during the day - to help you resolve any questions/concerns immediately.
5. At times, you might need to email me your assignments or projects. Here is my email address for reference:
Be sure to include YOUR NAME, COURSE NAME, UNIT and PROJECT Number in your email. This will help me keep your work organized and will prevent confusion.
Online LIVE Meeting Times!
I will have time available for questions, answers, and general discussions each Thursday from 11-11:30 Pacific Time. These sessions are not required, but an opportunity for you to touch base with me and ask any questions you may have regarding your Technical Electives courses.
Here is my Zoom link for the meetings. When signing in, make sure to have your first and last name visible on your zoom profile or you will NOT be let into the meeting.
