Fourth Amendment

Supreme Court Case

Police seizure of text messages violated the fourth amendment of the U.S. Constitution. A man was searched inside of his house due to an offensive text that was sent. The man had no warrants on his record and no assult cases.

Interpretation of the Amendment

To me this amendment means that we can live safely and be protective without someone violating our property and belongings without having a warrant or a reason to search our property. Also it means that i can be confident in my property and my belongings.

Description of the Amendment

Americans felt like they needed the fourth amendment to talk about the freedom of searches and seizures from the police or in some cases even the government.
