Message from the Principal
Whispering Pines Families,
For many of us we will never forget where we were on that day 20 years ago and as we move through the 20th year of the tragedy of September 11, I am overwhelmed with a tremendous sense of gratitude for our first responders and our military that protect us all. I know we have many that serve or have served in our Whispering Pines Family and I want to say Thank you for all that you have done and will continue to do to insure our freedom and safety.

Panda Mart
Your child, your child and your child all love the Panda Mart! Panda Bucks are like gold and they earn them through great behavior and great work and showing Panda Pride. However we could use your help. We can't pay for these items through Title 1 funds so we rely on our teachers and families to make donations. Please check out the link to the Amazon Wish List for items you can donate to the Panda Mart. COME ON....HELP A PANDA OUT!
Breakfast in the classroom
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get your child to school by 7:45 if you would like them to eat breakfast! We are serving all children breakfast this year. If you want your child to eat at school please get them here by 7:45am so they have time to eat their breakfast before we start class at 8:00. We have many students coming right at 8:00 and then wanting to eat breakfast. We don't want them to miss instruction time.
Activity Fees
Don't forget to pay your grade level activity fees. $10 for PreK and $15 for all other grade levels. These funds help us pay for field trips! Go to this link to pay
Lunches with your child
We are going to revisit this after Labor Day so we can properly organize this for safety and space. Some schools are offering outside eating and we do have two tables in the front but it is still VERY HOT. This will definitely be an option when it cools off.

Wise Wednesday
Have your child wear a college shirt or color every Wednesday to support our Wisdom Wednesday. On Wisdom Wednesdays, the students will focus on their future. Learning about careers, setting goals and looking ahead will help us to be successful and reach our full potential. This 9 weeks we are learning about the careers under the Public Service Endorsement like educators and first responders.
The power of GRATITUDE
