NPA Family Update

January 3 2022

Happy New Year NPA Community

This communication includes information about your student's assignment sheet and other relevant NPA happenings. We hope you all managed to stay warm and safe during our winter break storms. As you heard in the message from Principal Hughes, the NPA main campus is still without power. All students should be contacted directly by their teacher for information about the meeting this week. The NPA location on the Bear River campus (room C130) will be open and able to support students this week.

Updated information will be shared in a timely manner on our website, through our educators, and from the NPA office. Thank you for your understanding, grace, and ability to be flexible as we deal with this "exciting" start to 2022!

This week all students are completing assignment sheet #5 and will be receiving assignment sheet #6. Completion of the sheet at the last meeting of the assignment sheet is considered positive attendance. Average Daily Attendance (ADA) at an independent study = work completion. Your student should have earned 10 days of attendance. How did your student do this assignment sheet?

Assignment sheet #6, given this week, has 19 days of ADA. The sample shown below is a Monday student. Please ask to see your student's new assignment sheet after the teacher meeting this week.

Please Note: All NPA students are asked to have a parent/guardian/caregiver attend the first meeting for the week of January 24, 2022, as we begin the second semester of this school year.
