PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

First off, I would like to thank you for your continued cooperation, support, and understanding throughout this school year. To say that this year is atypical would be an understatement. What cannot be overstated, however, is how much we appreciate everything the students, families, and staff have done to persevere and overcome these challenges. Thank you!

Beginning March 8, we are scheduled to bring all in-person students into school simultaneously. In order to accomplish this feat while maintaining social distancing protocols, many classrooms need to be moved to larger spaces, including the All Purpose Room, Gymnasium, and Media Center. Although these new classrooms are not the traditional setting, they will all be outfitted with all the materials necessary to ensure your child receives the education you have come to expect from Bayville School. Each classroom will have student desks, a whiteboard, projector, document camera, etc. Ultimately, the Bayville School Staff is extremely excited to have our students back together to have a safe, educational, and memorable rest of the school year.

CONGRATULATIONS MRS. ROSETTI, BAYVILLE SCHOOL TEACHER OF THE YEAR!

  • In-person students who are not comfortable attending in-person should contact Mr. Rieder or Mrs. Gallagher to arrange for a transfer to full remote learning.
  • Students who transfer to the full remote model will be assigned a new remote teacher.

DROP-OFF PROCEDURE

Just a reminder: If you are dropping off your child in the morning and you do not need to get out of the car, you can pull up on Cramner Road, drop, and go. If you need to walk your child in or see the main office, please park on Pine Tree Drive. The crossing guard and police officer are stationed there to help you cross the street. As always, thank you for your cooperation!

PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN PICK-UP

Due to the restructuring of classrooms, we will have to move Preschool and Kindergarten Pick-Up to Door 2 (near the back parking lot) starting on March 8. This should be more convenient for families looking to pick up. The same procedure will be in place. Please make sure that everyone who is coming to pick up is approved to do so and has proper identification. We appreciate your understanding and support.
