Tank you all so much for all the Birthday wishes on Friday. It made the day very special! Also thanks for all the Administrator week notes and cards for Adam and Kyra and myself. Those were greatly appreciated.

This Week at Placerita 10.21.19

Happy Monday Placerita Staff!

Thanks again to all for your support with our Restaurant Fundraiser at CPK. We received the numbers this week and we made an additional $387.06 for the Foundation. All of this will go to benefit students. At the last Foundation meeting we purchased supplies for teachers for special programs like our CSI elective and we were able to purchase a Cello for Orchestra. Thank you for your support throughout the year.

Welcome to week 11…

Welcome back Brad! It's great to have you back and we are glad your recovery from surgery has gone well.

First Quarter progress reports go out this week so please remind your students to check Infinite Campus for their grades.

We have a fire drill scheduled for Tuesday right after brunch. Please refer to Adam's email from last week for more information.

Club HOT will be holding a canned soup drive to benefit one of our local organizations in need. We would love your support and assistance. ASB has generously agreed to assign team spirit points to the top teams that bring in the greatest number of soup cans. Here are the specifics:

  • What? Soup cans!!

  • When? 10/21 - 11/1 (2 weeks)

  • Where? Within student’s team rooms

Friday is the infamous Spooktacular Brunch activity! It will be fun.

Finally, we have two minimum days this week October 23rd and 24th (Wednesday and Thursday) for Department Collaboration and Professional Development. School will be out at noon on both days.

For a future reminder, we have the Placerita Night at the Hart Football game on November 1st.

Let's have a great week.

Here are a couple of very interesting articles
