Write-Produce-Perform a Radio Play

It all starts May 14th and 15th! Check out details below:

Create the podcast series Hush and perform in a live radio play! All teenaged writers, musicians, singers, actors and SFX artists welcome.

Secondary students, join The Shire’s Audio Drama Team and help us write a script, compose original music, create sound effects and act in a radio play as a part of our new podcast series “Hush”. The first episode of “Hush” will be performed and pre-recorded before a live studio audience at the Water Street Inn the evening of July 28th. Then, in September, the performance will be broadcast on the radio show Voices in the Valley on KLBB 1220-AM. The radio play will be aired on Voices in the Valley in a two part series. In the first episode, the Audio Drama Team will discuss the process of producing a radio play. The second episode will broadcast “Hush” as previously recorded. Both episodes will become podcasts that will be uploaded on to iTunes, SoundCloud, and remain available on The Shire’s website. Interested in helping us write, produce and perform in a radio play?
