How It Started

During the 20's the prohibition of alcohol came. With this underground bars, clubs, and speakeasies arose as well. And so did the wave of fun begin. Soon jazz clubs,private clubs, and roadhouses became an everyday thing and iconic dances began to emerge from these scenes.

Dance, Dance, Dance !!!

This new era led to new music and also set the foundation of modern pop standards. Dance music such as The "Charleston", similar to ragtime music, the "Shimmy", and the "Foxtrot" soon became the most famous dances of the time among young adults.
