Kathy Parker - Assistant Principal
Hi! I’m Kathy Parker and I am so excited to be serving as your Assistant Principal for the 22-23 school year! This is my 23rd year in education and my 11th year as an Assistant Principal. My family has lived in Allen for over 30 years and both of my boys attended Allen ISD schools since kindergarten and graduated from Allen High School. I am so blessed that both of my boys and their families live close by and I get to see them regularly. We love family game nights, pool time, and spending time together. I love my Allen ISD families as well and look forward to coming to work each and every day. Thank you for your warm welcome and for allowing me to serve the Anderson community this year.
Rose Casale - Nurse
Hi! My name is Rose Casale and I am Anderson's nurse! We recently moved here in November from Chicago, Illinois. I have worked in the OR for the last 20 years! I also have worked in ER, assisted living, and primary care. I am married to my husband Rob, who works for DPS as an employee counselor. We have a 12 year old daughter, Alexandra, who goes to Erecksen Middle School and is on the 7th grade cheer team. We have a rescue westie, Donnie, who is my second baby! My favorite food is tacos and nachos! My favorite ice cream is a vanilla hot fudge sundae from Braum's! We love Texas! I am so excited to be a part of the Anderson family! I promise to care for your children like they are my own, with compassion!

Attendance - What do I do id my child is absent?
Notify the office by 10:00 am by submitting an Absence Request in Family Access (preferred), calling the office at 972-396-6924 or e-mailing the Registrar.
By submitting the Absence Request in Skyward, you will have notified the school and provided the absence note! Otherwise, we must have a signed note from a parent, guardian or doctor stating the reason for the absence. The note needs to include the student’s name and date(s) of the absence(s).
By policy, your child’s absence will be recorded as unexcused if we do not receive a note within 3 school days of his/her return – even if you notified the school via phone or email.
A doctor’s note will be required for admittance into class if your student is absent more than 5 consecutive school days. This may be in written form, or you may also submit your absence request through Family Access.
If your child is absent from school and you would like to pick up his/her homework, you must request the homework by 10:00 am. It will be available for pick up in the office after 3:00 pm.
Unless a child is sick, please make every effort to have him/her in school. It is often difficult for young children to ‘catch-up’ when they have been out for several days.
· Please note that family vacations are not considered excused absences.
Once enrolled in public education, students are required by law to attend. Specific details can be found in the Elementary Student Handbook found online at www.allenisd.org.What do I do when my child is late to school?
- The late bell rings at 7:45 am. All side doors will be locked at this time. Please come to the front entrance to drop off your child.
Students may sign themselves in when late; however, we ask that parents ensure their student makes it safely inside the school door before leaving. Students simply ring the bell to gain access to the building.
- Students are not considered late if they are coming to school after a doctor’s appointment if a doctor’s note is provided when signing into school for the day.
