Teacher Brainstorm Tomorrow
LOTS of stuff to talk about! It's exciting to see how a year ago this was all on paper, and now we have a year under our belts! So many things to be proud of--I certainly hope you have taken a moment to pause, reflect, and pat yourselves on the back for all your hard work. I've never seen a more committed group of people, problem-solving on the fly, willing to do whatever it takes! I know I haven't said it enough, but THANK YOU for all you do every day!
It's fun to see the transformation from first semester to second semester. But, I'm even more anxious to see next semester come together! I'm including some of my notes below! I'm hopeful we can tackle the hearty things since we have everyone at the table.
Picture one: Is there a way to create a tight/loose system that would increase predictability for our students? This is my first jab at it, and the only thought I had was something that would be time-bound. I know with all your brains you will come up with something amazing to allow for a personalized environment while providing a rhythm and routine for students to maximize learning.
Picture two and three: This is just a list of some of the things on my mind to tackle with teachers. You will see much of the same echoed in the Real Time Board.
Have you checked out the Real Time Board?
Art has captured many great ideas for 18-19 on the Board!

Update from Curriculum Council by The Chad
The district is going to be using a new Classroom Management Platform called Canvas (We will no longer have access to Black Board as of June 30th). PD will be offered on that platform during the Summer PD week.
If you have any questions, see Chad.
