📚BEGIN AGAIN!
Parent Challenge
For the early years of education we need to help children start with a hopeful, positive outlook. We need to give them support and be their greatest cheerleader!
When they grow into middle schoolers we need to realize that they are learning a whole lot more then just academics, and are actually developing who they want to be in the future. It is vital that parents are there to walk them through the hardest stage of all academics, "the middle" years. Even as they act like they want to push away from parental guidance that actually need the structure and stability of their families to thrive and make wise choices.
When they get to the final stage fo traditional education, high school, we need to help them not be held back by doubt and fear, but instead realize that the world is surely at their finger tips! We need to be there to help them see their potential, expand their horizons and develop their gifts and talents, successfully helping them make the transition on college or career bound path!
School Readiness🤩
Ready, Set, Go!
The Georgia Public Broadcasting website has recently posted some great guides for parents of younger learners (K-5th grade) that help parents understand skills that their students may want to practice or develop as they enter this new school year. Check out the videos, resources, and guides for each of the K-5 grades. Spanish versions of these guides are also available at the GPB link above.
