The Kangaroo baseball team improved to 3-2 in district and moved into a 2nd place tie with several teams, one game behind Paschal with a 12-0 win over Sam Houston. Mason H and Kade S combined for the shutout on the mound. Hilton went 4 innings striking out 8 and allowing 3 hits while Spooner pitched the 5th inning and struck out 1 and allowed 0 hits. Bryce B led the offense with a double and a triple. Blake B had 3 singles while Spencer H and Parker B had 2 hits.

The Kangaroo Baseball team took on Arlington Lamar on Friday night at Raymond E Curtis Field. The Roos got the win 5-4 when Spencer H hit a double to left center to score Nick R in the bottom of the 7th for the walk off win. Hynes pitched 6 innings and struck out 9 and Parker B pitched the 7th and struck out 2 to pick up the win. Hynes also led the offense going 3-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI's. Mike N had a Sac Fly to score another run for the Roos. The win brings the Kangaroos district record to 4-2 and a tie for 2nd with Arlington High and one game behind Paschal.

On Saturday the Roos went to Fossil Ridge for a non-district ballgame. Jose R led the offense with a single and a triple and drove in three runs. Alejandro M made several nice plays in left field. The Kangaroos came up a little short losing 10-6


Your Lady Roos improved their district record to 7-1 by defeated Arlington by a score of 16-0 tonight at Lady Roo Stadium. Once again Sydney J and Alllison W split the pitching duties. There was too much offense to mention all, but Shelby K, Erin R, and Sierra H had 3 hits each. Shelby K also homered in her third straight game while driving in 6 runs.

The Lady Roos came up on the losing end to the Paschal Panthers by a score of 3-7 Friday night. Allison W pitched an incredible game; only giving up 4 earned runs. Shelby K and Erin R both hit home runs. Shelby extended her home run streak to 4 games in a row. The Lady Roos are now 7-2 in district.
