Stop the Bleed: Local trauma teams educate the public at UH Kakaʻako Campus
May is Trauma Awareness Month! Hawaiʻi joins the national campaign to "Stop the Bleed" and a public demonstration at JABSOM. Mahalo to all of the new doctors who stopped by--days after their MD Convocation-- to volunteer in the demonstration. Read it HERE.

May 25, 1:00pm: Making Sense of Mindfulness in Behavioral Healthcare
Dr. Akihiko Masuda, Associate Professor, U.H. Department of Psychology, will be speaking at the next Mindful Hawaii Community meeting to discuss how the teaching and practice of mindfulness has promoted behavioral health in recent years and will end by presenting findings of his recently completed preliminary treatment outcome study. The meeting will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 25 at Kaito Gakko, 3225 Pakanu St., next to the Manoa Chinese Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.
