Centennial High School

CHS opened its doors in the fall of 2010 with only 750 students. Today we have over 2000 students and offer a wide range of classes designed to meet the needs of today's learners.

The 1st day of school (August 18th) is right around the corner! We are excited to welcome all new and returning Spartans! We are equally excited to officially be done with the 2020-2021 school year.

With that, we wanted to make sure everyone is aware that BISD does not offer any form of virtual school this year. All enrolled students are required to attend school in person each day. If students are absent for any reason, they will need to work with their teachers for any make up work opportunities.

So that students are most prepared each day for classes, they will need a few things:

  1. A fully charged chromebook.
  2. Something to write with and something to write on. Specific teachers my require certain materials. They will let students know what is necessary for their class during the 1st week of school.
  3. Their student ID card. These will be provided once ID pictures are taken during the 2nd week of school.
  4. A willingness and desire to have a great day of learning.

Student House Office Breakdown

To better manage the day to day operations at CHS, we are divided into House Offices based on student last name. Each house office has a Greek Alphabet name. See the specifics here or see info below.

Most of your contact will CHS will start with your student's house office. The House Secretary will be your contact for all attendance related information. When your student is not going to be at school, please contact (email or phone call) your House Secretary. This will eliminate any truancy related issues.

For all scheduling or social/emotional needs, you will want to contact your student's counselor.

For any discipline related needs or for most other concerns, you will want to contact your student's administrator.

We will all work as a team to help your student be successful and have a great experience while at CHS.
