George Washington carver's life

George Washington Carver was born in Civil war years. When he was a child he was kidnapped with his sister and his mom, he worked for Moses and Susan Carver.George Washington Carver was an inventor,he was called the Peanut man.Susan Carver taught George how to read and write because there was no local school that would accept African american students. Now today there is a statue of George Washington Carver to represent what he did to change America today.

Jesse owens life

Jesse was born on september 12,1913 to March 31,1980. Jesse Owens won four gold metals even though white shined people thought that black people should not do anything but what they are supposed. People said that Jesse or anyone that is running should quit running because of his skin color. After all the racism Hitler congratulated Jesse by shaking his hand. Today there is a statue of Jesse Owens to tell people what he did to change America.
