Monthly Memo from the Principal

Mrs. Robbins- February 2022

Hello February! We LOVE you!

Welcome to February!

Hope this memo finds you all healthy and ready to tackle the month. We have had so many things going on with our Pleasant Hill Huskies so far this year and look forward to what is coming. We celebrated our 100th day of school on Thursday, January 27th. Our 1st graders celebrated 101 days of 1st grade on Friday, January 28th. Check out a few fun pictures below!

With Valentine's Day quickly approaching, don't forget to check your teacher's weekly update for information on how to safely get items to school for exchange. Each teacher will communicate their plans for cards, snacks, etc. Let us know if you are unsure of what to send. Please send items in your child's backpack, do not drop them in the front foyer if possible.

Let us know how we can support you all! We love you and wish you a very KINDNESS filled February! #spreadloveNOTgerms

Thank you,

Mrs. Robbins

Be on the LOOKOUT! Student growth data for Math and Reading are heading your way!

Your student's NWEA MAP Growth (math) and iStation (reading) data will be coming home this week. Please take a few minutes to watch this video made by our amazing instructional coach, Angie Teeters, to learn more about these universal screeners. Universal Screeners allow teachers, students, and families to follow student growth over time. Once you viewed the video, you can better decide how to use the data and discuss with your Husky at home. You can also check out the Leander ISD Universal Screener Website for LOTS more information!

Please let your teacher know if you have any questions once you receive your child's reports or if you would like to meet to discuss!
