Some great opportunities to support Peirce are coming up!

Hello Friends of Peirce!

We had a fantastic response to the Hopleaf "Peirce Day" event. So much so, we beat our goal of $20,000 and raised just over $30,000 to support school programs. THANK YOU!

To keep the momentum going we have planned several other opportunities to support Peirce in the coming weeks. We have designed these events and programs to allow everyone in our community to participate and contribute.

Peirce Walk-a-thon (Friday, May 13th): We are only 5 days away from our annual Walk-A-Thon being held at Peirce. Our students have worked hard to raise money to receive some great prizes and support their school. Come out to support our school during the day on Friday. If you are interested in volunteering or donating, contact Manini Rao (

Fiesta de Arte (Saturday, June 4th): Celebrate the coming of summer at Peirce's Fiesta De Arte, June 4, 2016. From 12pm-3pm at the school, you can enjoy an art walk, Food Trucks, Music, Dance, Garden Mosaic Project and much more! Some of the proceeds go to Peirce. Come out and enjoy all that Fiesta has to offer.

*NEW* Trivia Night at Pork Shoppe (Sunday, June 5th): Come on out to Pork Shoppe on Sunday, June 5th from 4pm-7pm for a fun evening of great BBQ, tasty drinks and Trivia hosted by the Pork Shoppe, one of our new partners. They are donating 20% of the proceeds during our event as well as donating the expense of the Trivia company who will be generating the questions and keeping score. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased here. Kids are free and we will have a separate competition for them. Build a team of your friends or come and find a team. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize as well as a prize for the best team name.

Beer Tent Fun at Midsommarfest (Sunday, June 12th): As they have over the past few years, the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce is offering us the opportunity to raise money for Peirce by staffing the Beer Tents at Midsommarfest. On Sunday June 12th, there are three shifts throughout the day (10:15a-2:15p, 2p-6p, and 6p-10p). We need a total of 58 volunteers so please invite your friends to help! Sign up here to get your place and get more information. In the past, we have raised around $5000 during this event so come on out and help. Volunteers get free entry and a T-Shirt!

We hope you will consider joining us for a couple or all of these fun opportunities to raise money for Peirce. We are working hard to alleviate the shortfall that we expect in next years' school budget. Come help us and your neighborhood school!

Thanks for all you do for Peirce!
