The Flipped Classroom (Online PD) March 6-17, 2017
Description: This session will cover an introduction to the flipped classroom and provide the participants with background knowledge as well as some tools to get started. Learn what a flipped classroom is all about, common obstacles to flipping and how to creatively overcome those obstacles.
Date: Opens March 6, 2017 (You have 2 weeks to complete.). Closes March 17, 2017 @ midnight
Location: After school on your own time

Technology Tools for Formative Assessment - March 9, 2017
Description: Technology today provides educators with a vast array of online tools to gauge student understanding and target student learning needs. During this session, we will examine and experiment with the most effective tools currently available for formative assessment to aid with classroom learning goals.

Microsoft Classroom - March 13, 2017
Description: Microsoft Classroom is a one source shop for assigning and collecting student work, providing feedback, collaborating, and grading student work online. This is Microsoft’s answer to Google Classroom. Office 365 Education now includes Microsoft Classroom, a blended learning platform for managing all classes and assignment workflow for teachers and students. Classroom also integrates with One Note Class Notebook which will be covered in a session next month. This session will provide participants with a student view of Classroom and time to setup classes and assignments.
