The Bittersweet Sugar Act
by : Isaiah Knox and Yunus blakely
Explanation for the sugar act
The reason the king started the sugar act is because after the french and Indian war he was in debt so he started taxing sugar. The colonists did not want to have to pay so much money for sugar and they got mad and said NO. If the colonists did not give the tax collectors the sugar they would be imprisoned until they decided to give up the sugar.
