Hi Team!
We are looking forward to seeing you next week!
You all know how we feel about traditions. Let's keep the tradition going that is centered around the wonderful sweet treat that we love to eat during this season....KING CAKE! Please accept this invitation to share your favorite king cake with your LAVCA Family during PD. In addition, please don't abandon any remaining king cake. Feel free to take it home for you and your family to enjoy during your MARDI GRAS break!

Special Programs
I'd like to share a resource that reminds us about ways to make everyone feel valued and included. This is a refresher from the Council of Exceptional Children (CEC) on using person-first language. This quick table offers tips on what to say and what not to say when communicating with or about people with disabilities.
