Volunteer Application - Register or Renew Every Year
All current LISD volunteers are required to reactivate their volunteer application each year. Enter your current user name and password and select reactivate. Please take a moment to update your child’s grade and campus for next year, any address, phone, or email changes, along with your volunteer years of service.

Leadership LISD
The Leadership class meets once a month (usually the second Thursday) in September through May from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at various locations throughout the district.

Literacy Partners
The purpose of the Literacy Partners initiative is to facilitate the goal that every child is reading on grade level by third grade. Literacy Partners serve with consistency and humility while keeping it simple. The program includes two 15 minute one-on-one reading sessions right outside the classroom door.

PTA
PTA is a grassroots organization made up of parents, teachers and others around the state who have a special interest in children, families and schools. PTA membership is as diverse as Texas is in cultures, education levels and parenting skills. By joining a PTA, a member automatically becomes part of the largest child-advocacy organization in the state — over 630,000 strong across Texas. Find your Local PTA
Committees
Site-Based Planning Committee (SBPC)
SBPC members provide input to the principal on a wide variety of subjects, with an aim of improving the achievement of all students. The Committees address such areas as planning, curriculum, budgeting, staff development, staffing patterns, and school organization. Each campus within Leander ISD has a Site-Based Planning Committee (SBPC).These committees are composed of district employees, community members, business representatives and parents. Contact your local school for more information.
Leander ISD is committed to having a safe and healthy environment for students, families and staff. By addressing nutrition, physical activity, health education and substance abuse prevention in a variety of ways and to a variety of audiences, we hope to raise the awareness levels and the skills for all to live a healthy life.The committee is made up of school personnel, community members and parents. For those interested in serving on the School Health Advisory Council, contact Ray Langlois at 512-570-0383.
District-wide Educational Improvement Council (DWEIC)
The Leander ISD District-wide Educational Improvement Council (DWEIC) is a committee of parents, business and community members, teacher, principals and other district staff to advise the Board in establishing and reviewing the district's educational goals, objectives, major district-wide classroom instructional programs and to approve staff development of a district-wide nature. All revenue generated through the advertising and marketing program is applied to Leander ISD’s general operating fund and all proceeds are distributed throughout the entire district. LISD Marketing incorporates the district’s core values, mission and vision into a customizable, multifaceted partnership program for businesses in the greater Leander/Cedar Park community, and beyond.
