Principal Newsletter
From the Desk of Mrs. Riley
April 5, 2018
It is wonderful today to see the blue skies of April! The days are getting longer and we are rapidly approaching the end of our school year. As we return this week from our vacation, there is much to look forward to in the month of April. From our Student Council sponsored Earth Day Celebration to First Holy Communion, there is a great deal of excitement in the building.
Here are some of the latest happenings to share with you:
- Our Lady of Good Counsel School is set to hold our Spring Open House on Sunday, May 6th from 11:00 AM-1:30 PM and on Thursday, May 10th from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. The Open House on Thursday will also include the annual Art Show and Band Concert. Please come out and see all that our students have accomplished and all that our school has to offer!
- Our Race for Education will take place on Friday, May 11, 2018. Please look for the pre-kick off letter to come home with your children today. This letter will introduce you to the race and some details in regards to what will take place next month.
Thank you for your constant support and prayers for our school. I encourage you to continue to support our work as we advance our mission to provide a transformative education steeped in academics and faith to our deserving students. There is no greater investment for forming our future saints than a Catholic education!
Please carefully review this week's newsletter for many reminders and updates. We thank you for entrusting your children to us and for the sacrifices you make each day to send your child(ren) to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School.
God's Peace,
Mrs. Barbara Riley
Principal
