Defining Moments in our Lives

It is during these unprecendented times that challenge us as individuals, families, communities and as a nation. Tomball ISD is not only a school district but a community, a family. Our TISD family has rallied together in support of each other. Friends, neighbors, family, communities, districts, teachers, businesses and colleagues are united as we all continue to adapt and overcome to the situation at hand. You all embody the very definitions of community, support, courage & adaptability. We will get through this and come through with a stronger community, greater appreciation for what's important, memories that will last a lifetime and hopefully lasting unity. #TISDStrong #Family #Community #WeGotThis #UnitedWeStand #Thankful #OurTeachersAreAmazing #BestDistrictEver

Tomball ISD Teachers Epitomize Great Expectations

Our TISD teachers epitomize what is means to be a great expectations district. They have rapidly adapted to our current situation, student's needs and gone above and beyond what's been asked of them. They are connecting with their students to show their love & support. They provide words and examples of encouragement. They demonstrate every life principle that is taught to our children in school.

For the Students

There is nothing normal or routine about our current situation and you find yourselves thrust into many unknowns and uncertainties. Know that you are not alone in this situation and your family, friends, teachers, district and so many more are here for you. This is only temporary even though it may feel like a lifetime right now. Be safe, find ways to have fun within our new guidelines, be creative, finds ways to connect from a distance, read some awesome books, do something you've never done before or have been wanting to do, play video games, go outside, get exercise, play, have fun and continue to wake up each day and approach it with your positive, amazing attitudes. You are greatly missed and loved!

For the Parents

You are faced with challenges never faced by parents of today and are learning daily how to navigate through our new normal. Always remember that you are doing your best and don't be too hard on yourselves. Don't put too much pressure on yourselves or them. Be sure to take care of yourselves while taking care of your family & others. Give yourselves room to breathe, take a break and just enjoy these extra moments with our family, friends & children we have been given. In the eyes of your children, you are already the best. Embrace this time with them and find balance. Above all, remember how strong, smart, courageous, adaptive and loved you are.
