Use Tasks in Gmail
Until recently, I didn't use Tasks; if I knew I had something to do, I just put it on my calendar. That's a shame; I didn't know what I was missing! Every day I would take the tasks I couldn't get to from the day before and move them into the future to a time I thought I could try again to get them done. Jobs like that are perfect for the Tasks list. To activate your Tasks, just click the mail button on your Gmail page, and choose Tasks. You will see the Tasks list pop up in the bottom right of your screen. Here's what a task list looks like when it has stuff in it:
