Welcome to the New School Year!
2019-2020
WELCOME BACK, FRIENDS! And so it begins. . . another wonderful school year! I truly hope you did "whatever" was needed for YOU this summer, just like the quote above. It's important that we first start off by celebrating what we did and what brought us JOY! Be sure to view the video of the summer photos that you all submitted to me this past week. They are wonderful! Thank you for sharing.
As most summer goes, we have much to share with all of you below regarding changes to staff as well as important calendar items. Without drinking too much from the firehose, I've done my best to compartmentalize the information that you need for now. Consider this more like a slow-drip of information!
With much respect,
Connie

Welcome, Tracy Gucinski! (1st Grade)
Hello! My name is Mrs. Tracy Gucinski and I am thrilled to be joining the first-grade team at Stonegate! Teaching was not my first career path. I spent 15 years in management for three retail corporations. I believe learning is a never-ending journey and received my teaching certification from IUPUI in 2017. I student taught in both first and fourth grade within MSD Pike Township.
After I graduated, I taught kindergarten at Tipton Elementary. I was a first-grade teacher at Fishers Elementary for one year before coming to Stonegate. I create a learning environment and provide experiences that encourage exploration, inquiry and nurture creativity and curiosity. I enjoy learning alongside my students as a reflective co-investigator and I am looking forward to sharing my passion with the Stonegate family!
I am a native Hoosier and currently live in Fishers with my family, fur babies, and a new Dumpy Tree Frog. I have been married to my husband, James for almost 24 years and we have five wonderful children. When I am not teaching I love exploring nature with my family, reading, and everything about cooking. I am looking forward to a new school year of learning, along with serving the students and families at Stonegate!
