Selkirk Wolves Supporting our Community
Congratulations and thank you to Abby Winters for putting a smile on people in our Community!
Abby’s Girl Scout troop is taking part in a Nationwide service project. Their goal was to provide a Valentine to every resident in one of the local nursing homes, 154 total.
Abby shared the idea with her classmates in Mrs. Fox’s Language Arts class. The idea took off! The class used free time at school and at home to not only fulfill the goal but surpass it with over 160 cards. The heartfelt and uplifting messages will be sent to socially isolated seniors. There is no doubt the cards will help to make the upcoming holiday brighter for those who receive them.
We are so proud of Abby and everyone in Mrs. Fox’s class!
Great job Wolves!
