March is Women's History Month
Each year, National Women’s History Month offers an opportunity to honor the contributions women have made to our nation and society. CVUSD is proud to recognize the accomplishments of women all year through and especially this March.
National Women’s History Month began as a week-long observance celebrated the week of March 8, 1980, to honor the contributions women have made to our nation and society. That week was chosen to correspond with International Women’s Day, which is March 8th.The event was expanded to a month-long observance in 1987 on the approval of Public Law 100-9, and since that time each president has issued an annual proclamation designating March as Women’s History Month.

Part-time Paid Job Opportunities at Wildwood
Substitute Campus Supervisors
We have a terrific campus supervision team at Wildwood, but we are currently in need of individuals who are willing to serve as substitutes for shifts on an as needed basis. We may have part-time positions with regular shifts available next school year, so this is a great way to get your feet wet and see if this work is a good fit for you. Contact Karen Meyer if interested.
Music Specialist for TK-3rd Grade
Wildwood currently has weekly music classes for grades 4 & 5, but we would like to extend services to all TK-3rd grade classes. If you or someone you know has experience providing learning experiences in music and/or the performing arts, please contact Mr. Lynch at klynch@conejousd.org.
P.E. Teacher for 2023-2024 School Year
Our beloved P.E. teachers, Robin Cookus and Tracy Rogers, will be hanging up their whistles at the end of this school year, so to maintain continuity with our program, we would like to bring on replacement P.E. teachers for the remainder of this school year to work alongside them and learn the program. If you or someone you know are interested in one of these 10-20 hour/week positions, or if you would like to begin with a 1-2 day/week shadow position for the remainder of this school year, please contact Mr. Lynch at klynch@conejousd.org.
School Attendance and Scheduling Vacation
Start building good attendance habits early on so children learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Attending school regularly improves academic performance and helps children feel better about school and themselves.
If your student will be absent, please call our office to report the absence. Students are marked “truant” when we don’t hear from a parent on each day of an unreported absence.
Please avoid scheduling vacation when school is in session.
