All teachers new to language arts and veteran teachers wishing to enhance their literacy pedagogy would benefit from these sessions. The sessions will be held on Oct. 8, Dec. 3, and Feb. 4 from 3:45 - 5:45 pm. Teachers who participated during the last two years will not need to participate as the courses are very similar. Please register in Frontline.
Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE)
Participating in a MWEE helps students deepen understanding of science concepts while engaging in the 5 C's and exposing them to career pathways. The virtual course will provide teachers with the basics to help them identify resources available to them for launching a MWEE. In-person workshops will be offered to teachers, as well, in the fall and spring to support them in facilitating MWEEs. Contact Ryan Foster, science coordinator, at Mark.Foster@vbschools.com for further assistance.
