SPSEF Scholarship Recipients
SPSEF is proud to announce its 2022 Scholarship Recipients!
The Springdale Public Schools Education Foundation is deeply committed to providing Springdale Graduates with financial assistance to further their educational experiences beyond high school. The individual scholarships are funded by the generous contributions of Springdale patrons who have a passion for helping graduates realize their dreams.
Renewable Awards
SPSEF's renewable scholarships are available to students who are planning to complete a 4-year degree plan. These students are able to renew their scholarships every year, as long as they meet the requirements laid out by the scholarship.
One-Time Awards
SPSEF's nonrenewable scholarships are available to students who are planning to complete a 4-year degree plan.

Workforce Scholarships
Workforce Scholarships have been created to support students who intend to enter the workforce in a job that typically requires a two-year degree or certificate from a trade school or two-year community college.
SPSEF's workforce awards are available to all students pursuing a non-traditional degree. There are so many options for these students including, a cosmetology degree, a surgical tech degree, and an aviation maintenance degree.
If you are a 2022 graduate of any of the Springdale School District and you are interested in one of our workforce scholarships or know someone who is, please reach out to SPSEF. Get in touch with faith@spsef.org with any questions.
THANK YOU!
SPSEF would like to thank all of our donors and volunteers! We cannot help these brilliant students without all the wonderful people who are involved with the foundation!
This year we had a great turnout at our Donor & Scholar Reception. It was a great opportunity for our donors, volunteers, and past and present students, to connect.
Debbie Hoffarth/Harps Food Stores Scholarship
Debbie Creek, with Harps Food Stores, visited with Connor McKenzie. Connor is an SHS '22 graduate and one of 6 recipients of the Debbie Hoffarth/Harps Food Stores Scholarship. He is currently planning to major in engineering at the University of Arkansas.
Past Student Gives Guidance
SPSEF was honored to have Ashanti Anzaldua speak to students, parents, donors, and volunteers. Ashanti is an HBHS '21 graduate. She was awarded the Donaldson Family Legacy Scholarship and the Jack and Glenna Hellstern Scholarship. Ashanti spoke on her first year at college, and she gave some helpful tips to the upcoming freshman.
Jeff Whorton Scholarship

Macey Wyler and Claire Bowden, both HBHS '22 graduates, are a part of the HBHS golf team, which made them eligible for the Jeff Whorton Memorial Scholarship.
