Reflections Contest 2017-2018
Need an activity to do while on Fall break?
PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program to encourage artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students of all grades and abilities may participate and explore the arts based on the 2017-2018 theme: "Within Reach"
o Entries from all grades and all abilities welcome. Categories include dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts. Click here for the summary of rules from last year's program.
- All entries must be new pieces of artwork inspired by this year’s Reflections theme! No “recycled” entries from art class, dance recital, school assignment, previous Reflections entry, etc.
- Students can participate once in every category if they choose.
o Every reflections entry needs a completed student entry form. (Link to entry form.) The artist statement is very important and the judges use it as part of their judging criteria.
Reflection entries are due by October 20th, 2017. Please contact the Reflections Chair, Christina Austin, with any further questions. Her contact info is: christinaaustin@iusd.org.
