WPMS Library News
December 2014
I can't believe how fast this year is going by. The library has been very busy. Language Arts classes have been visiting regularly for information literacy lessons and to check out books. We have also gotten several hundred new books for students to enjoy and have discovered some amazing artists during our ongoing art contests. If you would like to bring your class in for research, or if there is a specific research or information literacy lesson that you would like me to teach to your class, please let me know.
Resources
Please check out the WPMS Library web page to see the awesome resources I have created. Are you looking for alternatives to Google for student research? I have created a list of some great student-friendly search engines. Looking for copyright-free images? Have your students check out this list of copyright-free image websites. If you need research lessons and/or resources for upcoming projects, please give me a call or send me an email. I am happy to create a lesson/resource to meet your needs. For an example of resources I have created, please see the To Kill a Mockingbird Livebinder that I created last year for one of our Language Arts classes.

December Craft Days
Please remind your students about December Craft Days happening in the library during lunch. We will have various paper art projects available to work on during the month of December. They can make scratch art ornaments, snowflakes, Christmas trees out of old books, and much more. Stop by to see what our WPMS students are creating.
