I have enjoyed hearing about your Q1 journeys during data meetings this week. I love hearing how you are using new learning to grow students. The stories of hope and promise you see in the students is also truly refreshing. I heard, "We will get him/her there" so many times. We don't blame kids, we problem-solve with and for kids. We believe ALL kids can grow and our works shows that. You also communicated some areas of needed support and we will get to work to figure that out in the best way possible. Looking forward to a few more meetings next week. Thank YOU!!

Call for Presenters
Hello, MISD Educators!
We are in search of TOTALLY AWESOME sessions & content facilitators for our next district-wide PD on February 17, 2020.
We want this to be a valuable learning opportunity in which teachers can learn from other teachers about effective instruction (HRS Level II). If you would like to share your passion with other MISD educators and have a TOTALLY RAD session to present, then throw on your legwarmers, pop your collar, tease your hair, and submit a session proposal, or BE SQUARE. Session proposals for February 17 should focus on engaging strategies to improve teaching and learning. If you have presented at Carnverge or any other conferences this past summer, we encourage you to replicate your presentation for February 17.
Also, we are looking for ROCKSTAR teachers that would be STOKED to facilitate a session that content Coordinators have created.
Please complete your Session Proposal, and/or Content Facilitator Form by November 15, 2019.
Kudos!
Good Morning,
I wanted to give a shout out to our 7th grade team and highlight the contributions Michael Zoellner brings to our curriculum design team. He has updated our CMS team on the changes made to the DA1 and brought forth conversations about our work in Q2. He’s planned for the team to take the semester final to discuss where our students our headed and how they will be assessed in December. I appreciate the positive impact he is having on both our PLC and our students.
Sincerely,
Kendra Henke
Connie Beyer,
Thanks again for bringing this to our attention. We continue to thank you for all the hard work and guidance you have given our son. We cannot think of anyone who has made more of an impact on his life than you. We are extremely grateful. Thank you.

Coach,
Our thanks to you and your coaching staff for the hard work this season with the 7th grade team. I appreciate the work that was put in to guide our boys in accountability and expectation. Critical life lessons they need for the most important challenge they will face....Life. Our son enjoyed the season, learned a lot, and is looking forward to trying out for the BB team in the next couple weeks.
Just wanted to reach out with this short message and say thanks for all you and the staff does for our young men.
Respectfully,
Happy Parent
