Dismissal Changes - Very Important!

Thank you for helping ensure our dismissal procedures are smooth every day! You can do this by:

1. Notifying the office of any dismissal changes between 8:00am and 2:15pm. The office will then notify the teacher.

2. Please do not DOJO the teacher about dismissal changes - they cannot check dojo during the day.

MARCH LUNCH MENU IS HERE! Don't forget we also have Breakfast Every Day starting at 7:30am!

65 Ways to Be A Reader!

Community Centers, Inc (who provides our after school homework club at New Leb) is running a reading incentive to celebrate their 65 years of service.

Starting on Monday, March 2, 2020, New Lebanon students will be given an activity sheet called, “65 Ways to Be a Reader.” The students may choose as many reading activities as they like from the form below. You do not have to complete all 65 to be part of the fun! Kids can color in each task that they complete and return it to their teacher by Friday, March 27th.

If a student returns their sheet they will be put in a raffle for a class ice cream and pizza party as well as a district raffle for a new bike!

Western Middle School Fundraiser- open to ALL schools:

On March 5 at 6:00 pm, Western will host its fourth annual St. Baldrick's event in the gymnasium. This year's event is titled "Western's Mane Event!" The primary goal of St. Baldrick's foundation is to raise money through donations tied to shaving one's head. (We've included the option of or donating a ponytail of 8 inches or longer, in lieu of a complete head shave). Over the past two events, the Western community (with help from the greater Greenwich community) has raised over $37,000 for this worthy cause. From food donations from local eateries to the music of a local cover band made of some Western parents to volunteer event organizers and the shavees themselves, St. Baldrick's allows us to share the best versions of ourselves with the community.

You can help by donating to the cause at this link, signing up to be a "shavee" or hair donor at our event or recruiting family or friends to do either of the above using this link. Should you decide to participate, a signed participant agreement needs to be turned in on the night of the event.

Feel free to direct questions to Kerry Gavin (kerry_gavin@greenwich.k12.ct.us)
