Colt Courier
Week of May 31, 2016
Principal Points
Hope everyone had a great short week! Enjoy the long four day weekend before the last few days of school. Remember NO school on Friday or Monday. See you on Tuesday!
Very sorry for moving the Pep Rally, but this is the big Pep Rally for the students. Yearbooks are handed out and time is allotted for the students to sign each others yearbooks. Hated to possibly have the students miss out on this time due to the storms. I appreciate everyone's willingness and flexibility.
Hope everyone has a wonderful summer! Will see you around at functions and events!
Colt PRIDE,
Mr. Martin
2016-17 School Shot Requirements
6th Grade going into 7th:
Tdap and MCV
Laptops Over the Summer
All students who paid the $35 will take their laptops and power supplies home. This includes 8th graders going to high school.
We might want to remind parents that if you know you are leaving the district, turn your students computer/power supply in when they are finished using it for the year. If for any reason you should leave unexpectedly take it to the administration building.
No Charging Policy/Summer School
No charging will be allowed starting May 9th. Students must have a positive balance in order to purchase items in the school cafeteria. Any student without a positive balance will receive an alternative meal at lunch. Please visit myschoolbucks.com to monitor account balances and set up low-balance email alerts. We appreciate your prompt attention in maintaining a positive meal balance.
Additional information may also be found on the districts website www.gcisd-k12.org and Child Nutrition Facebook page.
