A Walk through the PARCC
Students in grades 3 through 6 will participate in the PARCC assessment beginning in March of 2015. PARCC is an acronym for Partnership for Readiness in College and Careers and it consists of a partnership between many states to measure whether students are on track to be successful in college and careers. The PARCC assessment is broken into two parts, the Performance Based Assessment or PBA and the End of Year assessment or the EOY. These assessments will be electronically given to students. There will be more information to come on the upcoming PARCC assessments in January.
