Principal's Note

Happy Fall Lamar Families!

As we move into the 2nd nine weeks and transition into a new reopening setting, I wanted to again thank all of our students, faculty, staff, and families for their hard work and patience during these unprecendented times. The experience with virtual learning, while sometimes confusing and cumbersome, has made us stronger and more resilient as a school community.

We are looking forward to helping our students get back into a normal routine and helping them catch up on missed learning from last school year. We will will also continue to support our families who have opted for remote learning for their child. Please continue to stay in close communication with your child's teachers so that you are aware of their progress throughout the school year. Below is a summary of the most current reopening plans. If there is anyway we can support you, please reach out to the school at 423-753-1130 or email me at merrimanm@wcde.org.

Wishing everyone a restful Fall Break!

Mark Merriman, Principal
