COVID-19 Isolation Guidelines
For Pre K - 12 Families
Dear Bristol Warren Families,
During the first week of May, schools in Rhode Island reported 37 outbreaks with 182 cases–this is 6 times as many clusters than at the end of March and 9 times more cases associated with these outbreaks. The largest clusters, those with 10 or more cases, were linked to extracurricular events, such as theater or drama programs and field trips.
Please find linked here in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, a letter from RIDOH to Pre K-12 Families reminding them of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) isolation protocol for those who test positive for COVID-19.
It remains important that families are aware of isolation guidelines, including wearing a mask if attending school for days 6-10 of the isolation period.
As always, if you have any questions about COVID-19, please do not hesitate to contact your school principal or school nurse.
With our children in mind,
Superintendent of Schools
