ALL HANDS ON DECK
HS STAFF NEWS | December 4, 2017
Teachers and Staff Reminder
Anytime you are leaving the Platte County High School Campus, you need to notify Bobbie Deeney. During school hours, you must remain in the building unless you have signed out with Bobbie, in the office.
There will be a sign-out/in board located in Bobbie's office on the credenza.
Please make sure you follow the updated process. This is to ensure proper coverage and accountability for classes, students, and staff.
Please remember also to put in your leave in Aesop as soon as you know you will be out for any scheduled Professional Development (Topic Study, Curriculum, Conferences, meetings, etc.) Coaching, Field Trips, and any other pre-scheduled absence, so we can get a substitute scheduled as soon a possible.
Holiday Fun!!
Our December PLC is next week and that is when our White Elephant Gift Exchange is.
You do not have to participate, but it is fun! This can be a funny gift or something that you want to get rid of.
Gift Exchange will take place at 1:20 in Paxton Gym.
You can drop your presents off in the office workroom during the day, or at Paxton as you are going to the VALIC update to start PLC.
DOOR DECORATING IS ON!
Our annual Door Decorating Contest is afoot! You may start decorating now and the judging of doors will happen on December 18th. A prize will be involved!
TWO MORE CONTESTS:
To kick off December, LifeTouch is having two holiday contests for staff and teachers to participate in: Ugly Sweater contest and a Holiday Door Decorating contest!
Please see attached Fliers for contest details. Participate in one or both!
This is an opportunity for the school and teachers to win Printshop credit, which can be redeemed for customized posters, banners, certificates, awards, stickers, cards, and so much more! Help spread the holiday cheer and feel free to enter as many times as you like.
Entry is simple: snap a picture with your school's name, your name, contact information and email it to KKelley@Lifetouch.com by the deadline listed.
GOOD LUCK!
