Message from the Principal
It has been a busy week at Westbrook as all kindergarten and first grade students participated in their winter benchmarks. We look forward to having second grade complete these benchmarks next week!
Just a friendly reminder that Valentine's Day will need to look different for students this year. There will be NO exchange of student Valentines in class. Our classroom teachers will be sure to make Valentine's Day a special occasion with in class activities that will follow our safety procedures and protocols.
Registration for a change in placement (hybrid to GOAL, GOAL to hybrid) is now open for Trimester 3. You should have received an e-mail from Cathy Kedjidjian explaining the registration process through PowerSchool. Registration is open now until February 12! Trimester 3 will begin on March 8, 2021.
We look forward to having our kindergarten students return to four days a week starting on February 16. There have been many adjustments internally to schedules, space utilization and AM/PM placements. Thank you so much to all of our kinder families for your flexibility to adjust schedules to make this happen!
Another reminder to all that masks should be worn during car pick up and drop off at all times. We appreciate your cooperation!
Spring parent teacher conferences will continue to be virtual on Zoom! Parent teacher conferences will be scheduled the week of March 1 and March 1 is a non student attendance day. Please be on the look out soon for a sign up from your students' classroom teacher!
Last, and certainly not least, thank you to the PTA volunteers that have been providing treats to the staff at Westbrook! We are so thankful to have a supportive school community! If you would like to contribute, please click on the link below sponsored by the PTA to join the Good Vibes campaign!

Also, Kindergarten and 2nd Grade students are required to have a dental examination by May, 15th of this school year.
