Fall Book Fair 11/28-12/2
Dear Parents and Families:
Get Ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them to become Bolder, Prouder, and Stronger Readers. AND—as always—every book they buy earns rewards for our school.
Here’s what you need to know about the Fair, which will take place from 11/28-12/2, 8:05-8:30am and 3:00-4:15 pm at the school library:
This year, say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy.
Parents, you can also send a sealed envelope by your child with their name, items they want to purchase, along with your desired form of payment (options shown below) every morning between 8:05-8:30 to the library. The order will be delivered to your child by the end of the school day.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school.
Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping:

Henrico Christmas Mother
Henrico Christmas Mother Food Drive- Wilder will support the Henrico Christmas Mother with our annual food drive ending November 18. Boxes will be set up in each teacher’s advisory for nonperishable food items. Ideas include canned food, pasta, rice, peanut butter, crackers, and cereal.
Clothing to Cash Fundraiser
Clothing to Cash Recycling Program Families, we need your support by donating clean and gently used clothing, footwear, textiles and accessories. The more pounds collected the more money Wilder can raise. Collections will start at the Harvest Family Festival (10/22). The goal is to collect until November 28 and deposit the bags into the green and white bin in Wilder's parking lot. The school with the most pounds will receive additional funds. If you have any questions or concerns email Ms. Irving at grirving@henrico.k12.va.us
