MAY IS THE MONTH OF MARY

ADMIN TEAM MESSAGE
This month we will be celebrating the sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion with some of our grade 2 students. They have been working very hard to prepare for this big celebration. We will continue to pray for these students in the days to come. Congratulations!
On May 17th our grade 4-7 students will have their track and field day here at the school. We would like to wish everyone good luck but remember the most important thing is to show good sportsmanship. Parents, grandparents and caregivers are more than welcome to come out and cheer the students on.
Basketball is wrapping up this month. Both teams have been working hard and having fun! Thank you to Mrs. Loeppky, Miss Nedelec and Mr. Ross for coaching.
The snow is gone, the ground is dry therefore Running club will begin this month for students in grades 2-7! A note was sent home with more information.
We have some new faces around our school. Miss Nedelec will be teaching in the grade 7 room for most of May while Mrs. Derenoski is working with our division in another capacity. Mr. Gaviada is teaching in the grade 6 room and Miss Risling in the pre-k room for the remainder of the year. We would like to wish Mrs. Lightfoot and Mrs. Welford all the best as they spend time with their families.
It is hard to believe that we are in our last two months of school. We are looking forward to more time outside learning, growing and having fun!
Mrs. Combres & Mrs. Weber
