The Weekly Hoot

April 13-19, 2015

Greetings All -

I hope your weekend was as full of fun as mine was. I sit here at 5:00 AM on Monday morning listening to a heck of a rainstorm outside and thinking how much I wish I could crawl back in bed and sleep, but alas, that will not be the case. :)

We are beginning what I think is the busiest "season" of the year...the "end of school" season. I appreciate the level of engagement that I am still seeing during walkthroughs. I know, at times, it would be easier to give busy work to your students and get some of the endless things we ask you to get done completed, but it is nice and reassuring to know that you all are professionals and are not doing that. I know that I thank you, but I promise your students thank you also.

Since this is the last week of tutoring, I also feel like a big thank you to all of the teachers that are helping with tutoring is in order. As I have said many times, it takes a village, and everyone has definitely pulled their weight this year.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Love to all,

Connie Wetuski for being chosen out of all the CLL's in the TIF grant as the representative to go to Washington, D.C. and sit on a panel that is presenting to the National Department of Education. I am so proud of you and I know that you will "own" that room before you leave it!
