Parents, Guardians, and Community,
NEW IMPORTANT SECURITY CHANGE!
Due to the need for increased security for our students and staff, the school corporation has made the decision that all schools will begin collecting and holding driver's licenses or state ID cards of any visitor to our building who goes beyond the office. Licenses and ID's will be returned as visitors sign out and exit the building. This practice was piloted at Danville High School as was deemed appropriate for all schools.
Parents or guardians who are simply dropping students off, signing in students, or visiting the office will not need to leave a license. We apologize for any inconvenience this practice causes, but we believe that student safety comes first. Your cooperation is appreciated.
As always, I am so honored and privileged to serve the students, staff, and families of the community of Danville. Thank you for the opportunity.
