Summer Notes
Ms. Heidi's last day in the office before summer break is Friday, June 9, 2023.
I will officially be back Wednesday, August 9. However, I will be checking my emails throughout the summer. Please email me at solinhm@chipfalls.org if you need anything!
Right now, we are planning on sending out our start of the school year information the third week of August. Please watch for that! Students will be able to find out their teachers by going on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Directions will be sent closer to that time.
5th Grade Farewell
Join us in celebrating this year’s fifth graders as they take their final walk through Hillcrest!
When: Tuesday, June 6th at 2:00pm
Where: Lawn in Front of the Gym
Fifth grade students will walk from the playground to the front of Hillcrest before re-entering the building near the art room.
All other students will be outside to cheer them on.
Parents are welcome to join us for this final event by lining up along the sidewalk in front of the gym. (Other grades will be on the sidewalk in front of the building, so parents need to stay in this green space area)
Students with family members present will be able to leave with parents, after picking up their belongings from their classroom and checking out with their teachers.
Students will meet up with parents in the green space in front of the gym.
Siblings of fifth grade students will need to wait until dismissal at 2:30.
Students not being picked up will return to the classroom to await
regular dismissal.
Library End of the Year
Thank you!
-Mrs. Vergin

Are You Moving Over Summer?
Please fill out this form to alert the school to any changes in your child’s attendance area for next school year as soon as you are aware of changes (upcoming moves, parochial school, etc.)
We are creating class lists for the 2023-24 school year and need to know of changes that will affect our student count.
**Please note that if you are leaving, you need to enroll at your new school to be withdrawn here.
Yearbook Order
On June 1st, the Strawbridge online portal will reopen for any parents/guardians who forgot to order a yearbook.
Enter code: YB27101 to order a Hillcrest yearbook. These will be shipped directly to your home. Yearbooks are $10. The shipping charge is $10.
End of Year Nursing
If your child takes a daily medication at school, please send only enough doses to get your child through the day on June 6, 2023. Any extra medication will need to be picked up on or before the last day of school by a parent or it will be disposed of.
If your child has an emergency medication at school, (ex. EpiPen, Diastat) arrangements will need to be made to pick up. Reminders to get them will be sent home before the end of the year. Inhalers will be sent home in your child’s backpack if they are not picked up before the last day of school.
If your child has any medication at school that is not taken on a regular basis, (ex. Tylenol, Motrin, cough drops, cough syrup), please make arrangements to pick up this medication before the end of the school year. Any medication left in the health office at the end of the last day of school will be disposed of.

EVERY FAMILY MUST DO: Annual Online Registration
The Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District has opened the annual online registration process found on the Infinite Campus parent portal. This process helps us gather the latest family contact information along with your permission for important questions concerning your student(s).
The online registration process is required for each student. Completion of the process allows your student access to a number of privileges including field trips, access to the internet, and use of district chromebooks/ipads. You can see the questions below.
The registration process is now open so parents have plenty of time to review their information online before the fall. To make the review and entry process simpler, please consider using a laptop or computer.
If your student is a member of more than one household, please understand that only one household can complete the online process. See image below for more details.
How to Start:
- Log onto the Campus parent portal
- Click on the More menu item
- Online Registration
- 23-24 Next Year EXISTING Student Registration to begin the process.
If you need help logging in, click on the "Problems logging in" link on the login screen. For help with the online process, email our help desk at helpdesk@chipfalls.org and include your phone number.
