Five Mobile Apps That YOU can use in Your Classroom
Mobile Apps
Mobile Apps are applications that students can use to enhance their learning. I will be talking about Scribble My Story, Bitsboard, Fry Words, Grammaropolis, and Khan Academy.
Scribble My Story
A free app with iTunes, which is targeted for ages 3-7 that fosters creativity and early literacy skills.
Bitsboard
Free app with iTunes, which gives students access to a multitude of flashcards across multiple different curricular outcomes.
Fry Words
Free app with iTunes, which has a list of thousands of high frequency words that students should recognize immediately, but can also be used to help with spelling, writing, and reading.
Grammaropolis
Can be accessed at: http://grammaropolis.com/ and you can choose from different things from nouns and verbs to conjunctions and prepositions.
Khan Academy
Can be accessed free at: https://www.khanacademy.org/ where your students can take control of their learning. They can learn things from math to science with easy to follow videos.
