Important Points for Parents
Parents next week marks the midway point of the first quarter. We are asking that you log onto Parent Portal and take a look at your students' grades. We are not printing hard copies of midterms this year, but we are still encouraging everyone to look at grades and discuss/celebrate them with your children.
Parent Technology Support
Parents take a look at this new website to help with all of the different platforms and programs your students maybe interacting with this year. Check out the link, and it can also found on our school website on the "Parents" page.
Here is the link to Parent Portal.

Our 7th grade girls won both of their games this week to remain UNDEFEATED. The week started by beating Banks Trail at home in two close games. They were able to win on the road against Pleasant Knoll on Wednesday. Our ladies are still sitting atop the 7th grade ranking going into the last week of the regular season. Their last game of the regular season will be this Monday on the road against a very strong Indianland Middle School team.
Our 8th grade girls lost both of their matches this week, but they battled hard and represented us well. Their last game of the regular season is also on Monday at Indianland Middle School.
The playoffs start next Wednesday for our 7th graders. They will be playing at home. We will be the second game, and will play the winner of the first game between two teams that have not been determined yet. Our 8th grade will start their playoff run on the road on the following Monday, October 19th. The seeding for that match up is still unknown as well.
Good Luck Ladies! We are proud of you!
Congratulations to our Football Team!!! They pulled off a big win again Pleasant Knoll marking the first ever victory Gold Hill has had over PKMS since they opened several years ago. The final score was 14 - 8.
We will play again next week at Fort Mill High School versus Banks Trail at 6:30.
Please remember spectators are limited to just family members. Only students that are watching siblings are allowed in the game. All tickets must be pre-bought through our Pay Fees Page. Face masks will be required, and families will be asked to socially distance while in the stands.
Good Luck Bulldogs!
Basketball Tryouts Are Coming!!!
The boys will be trying out for basketball the following week on November 9th, 10th, and 11th from 3:30 - 5:30.
There is a chance that football will still be going on that week. Any football player that would like to try out for the basketball team will be able to tryout once the football season is over. No worries!
Everyone interested in trying out must have an up-to-date physical uploaded onto PlanetHS prior to them being able to tryout. Please go to the athletic webpage for further instructions on how to upload. Athletes only need one physical per school year. If they are playing football, volleyball, dance, or cheer, then they are already covered to try out for basketball.
Good luck to everyone interested!
