Learning. Growing. Collaborating & Achieving @KrumHighSchool
April 24, 2017
Greetings! Thank you all for a great week! We have had so much to celebrate this year. Congratulations to Regional Track Qualifiers, our District Champion Softball Team; State FFA Qualifiers, and our Baseball Team for also making the playoffs. We are thankful for our teachers and coaches that push our students to be champions in the classroom and in their extracurricular activities. It's pretty awesome to witness the accomplishments that have been achieved this year. This does not happen by accident. Parents, thank you for setting your expectations high and encouraging your children and supporting our staff. Good Luck to everyone competing this week - Golf, Track, Softball, Baseball, FFA, and Cheer! If you are looking for some great tunes, check out the Krum Band at the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival next week.
Although I jumped the gun last week, this week is the actual Administrative Professional's Week. Let's shower Mrs. Murdock, Mrs. Beall, Mrs. Morrow, and Ms. Waldrum with great appreciation. We are fortunate to have them on our campus. This week will the final push on tutorials before EOC's and AP testing. We are still working hard to finish the year strong. Please contact us if we can be of any assistance or help with any questions.
Go Bobcats!

United States Marine Corps
OUR PURPOSE
The Marine Corps defends the people of the United States at home and abroad. To do that, we make Marines who win our nation’s battles and return as quality citizens.
OUR MISSION
As America's expeditionary force in readiness since 1775, the Marines are forward deployed to win our nation’s battles swiftly and aggressively in times of crisis. We fight on land, sea and air, as well as provide forces and detachments to naval ships and ground operations.
Marines have a long history of developing expeditionary doctrine and innovations that set the example while leading other countries in multinational military operations. These unique capabilities and leadership qualities make the Marines our nation’s first line of defense.
BATTLE BORN.
MARINE MADE.
You don't join the Marines. You become one. This is where the battle begins.
COMMISSIONED TO COMMAND MISSIONS
Strategically, knowledgeably and soundly, Marine Officers command each mission, earning the trust of their Marines and the confidence of our entire nation—to win. Marine Officers learn and adopt leadership skills that have been tried and proven in every conflict this nation has seen. It is by facing, winning and learning through each battle that Marine Officers develop their own leadership styles and adapt them to best suit the needs of the mission and the well-being of their Marines.
FIND YOUR FIGHT
Ours is a noble path and a demanding journey, reserved for those with the willingness to engage and determination to defeat every physical, mental and moral adversary. Over fear and doubt, through fatigue and scrutiny—Marines win. Those few who comprise our enlisted and officer ranks possess the fight in them to win for us all.
ENLISTED TO EXECUTE MISSIONS
Faithfully, courageously and decisively, Enlisted Marines execute each mission, leading with honor to win battles in combat, in communities and where help is needed most. Enlisted Marines make up the majority of the Marine Corps and are trained to respond appropriately and convincingly when called upon. Contacting a Marine Recruiter gives you direct access to a Marine who has trained beside recruits, served alongside Marines and knows exactly what is required to become an Enlisted Marine.
